Eastover Library Mission

The Mission of the Eastover Library Media Center is to establish a culture for investigation and a love of literature, guiding students to read, comprehend, and analyze information effectively and to encourage and empower students to be life-long 21st Century learners.

The school Library is an active part of our learning community and serves as a vital connection between school and home.  It provides all members of the school community access to information and technology, connecting learning to real-world events. By curating a well-managed collection, the academic and personal needs of students are met and students grow in all areas of literacy..
In the School Library Media Center, students will:
  • Inquire
  • Collaborate
  • Explore
  • Curate
  • Engage and
  • Include:  Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to inclusiveness and respect for diversity in the learning community.
